This appointment is for the Apretude (cabotegravir ER) Injection
- Apretude is initiated with two doses given 30 days apart and then must be injected every 60 days.
- You must be at least 12 years old to receive the Apretude (cabotegravir ER) injection for HIV PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) at Pucci's Pharmacy.
- Please DO NOT schedule to receive the Apretude injection if you are under 12 years old. 
- Your provider must send an order for Apretude to the pharmacy before we will be able to administer your injections unless you are being routinely tested and followed as a patient by the pharmacist at Pucci's. 
- Cost of administration will be billed to your health plan. Any applicable copays for medication must be paid at the time of administration.

APRETUDE (cabotegravir ER injectable suspension) 600 mg/3 mL is an HIV-1 integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI) indicated in at-risk adults and adolescents weighing at least 35 kg for PrEP to reduce the risk of sexually acquired HIV-1 infection. Individuals must have a negative HIV-1 test prior to initiating APRETUDE (with or without an oral lead-in with oral cabotegravir) for HIV-1 PrEP.
